Oh man...I honestly don't understand these people.

For one thing, some of those facts aren't even accurate, John Adams never owned a slave, Franklin in his later years wrote against it, and Washington made provisions in his will for all his slaves to be freed upon his wife's death (She voluntarily freed them the year after he died).

Sure, men like say, John Hancock were wealthy merchants, but they were willing to put everything on the line--including their lives--for the sake of the country, which is more than because said about most--if any Washington DC politicians today.

Although--hmm, I must say Frederick Douglas' words concerning hypocrisy and cruelty are timely today, people in the past may have denied full freedom and human rights to their fellow men based on skin color, rather the way many modern liberals are willing to deny the unborn the right to...life?

What was that again about slaughters and massacres being a thing of our American past?

PS
And Jafar in Aladdin has a British accent, not Arabic :P

The Warrior officially endorses that statement. :-)

I just loved this quote ;)

'Asked why most terrorists on the show were Arab or Muslim he said, "When we tried to make ... the terrorists Swedish terrorists, it was somewhat less convincing."'

(From the last article - which by the way I found somewhat interesting)
