I'm a Vision Forum Affiliate!

Thanks to my fellow blogger at Horn Herald, I'm now a Vision Forum Affiliate! It's similar to the Amazon.com store I have except I don't have my own "store", you just click on the links I have on my site (via the sidebar banners and such) and I get credit for whatever you buy after that.

So...not to, ahem, self-promote but...who wants to buy some Vision Forum stuff? :-D

Spencer

Edit: WAIT! Did I tell anyone that you have to spend at least $50 for me to get commission? ;-P

Hmm, I'm not sure what Vision Forum stuff is, but I'll take a box of Thin Mints and Samoas! ;)

"Wow, you scared me for a minute there..I thought that first poem was yours! :-O"

Vision Forum is basically my favorite store. :-) If you like my blog then you will more than likely like their products. Mostly Christianity, etc.

Hehe. Never ;)

Lol, good girl. :-)

LOL cool! Is that your signature?

Well, it's my signature as drawn in Paint... but it's pretty close to what my signature really looks like... and note that my name is only USUALLY Mariah. ;)

Hey Spencer,
I wonder if, now that you're at or nearing manhood/legal adulthood, it might be time to drop the "Dr. Paleo" business... and just go with Spencer or some other non-accredited nickname, eh? It's just not very respectful towards those who have worked 7+ years to attain upper-level degrees, and would be a more honest presentation of who/what you really are, particularly as you comment on others' blogs.

Just a suggestion.

Jess,

I have actually considered changing it myself, although admittedly for very different reasons. It's just very very old and, well, shall we say I'm over it? However I don't think it's such a bad thing to use "Ph.D." in such a sense.

On the other hand, I don't like my name being broadcasted everywhere as it is, so don't want to use my real name. And I've been afraid of confusing my readers. Perhaps it's time to ask them....

LOL, well, others think I should "mmob"... which is fine. I don't really care one way or another. I just think people would think less of me if I went around with "Nobel Prize Winner" as part of my signature and then found out that I was no such thing. It ascribes glory which has not been earned, and causes one (imo, which might not matter) to think less of the bearer once the truth is discovered.

To each his own opinion, certainly. And you can change it or not of your own desire, obviously. Just my opinion. Which is just that. An opinion.

No worries Jess. It's just that to understand the name "Dr. Paleo Ph.D." you'd have to know it's roots (and may I say next to none of my readers now knew me back then). It had ties to my Lego collecting hobby (where we all have silly names) as well as a friendly forum where we also all had silly names.

So, it's kind of hard for some to understand, but it IS entirely non-serious....
