An amazing post

(I'd leave a comment on Lauren's Livejournal, but I don't have an account for it. ;) )

Finally! Someone who feels similarly about Obama! I absolutely agree with you on this issue--my opinion of Obama has long been that he is flat-out "scary" (or "creepy", as my sister calls him), and nearly every new thing that I hear about him confirms that. It takes a truly sick mind for someone to believe as he does on abortion. Ugh. Thankfully, I don't think he'll make it as president. I've heard statistics that say that many liberals would rather vote for McCain than for Obama. (Probably in part because they know Obama would be likely to get assassinated.)

By the way, I just recently made a post regarding abortion (though I took it in a different direction)...How coincidental! :P

I'll just cross-post the comment I made there:

I say we abort Obama.

What is ya'lls opinion of Jim Webb, Obama's potential running mate?

I say we write him in for president, but Mike Powers is a good choice also.

Faugh A Ballagh Obama, vote Powers~Boyd in 08!

notmyown -- I feel rather compelled to apologize for disabling anonymous comments, but sadly I have done so out of necessity due to "weirdos". (lol) So I'll say thank you for the comment on my brother's blog. ;-D

Nathan -- I echo Spencer!! You are one sensible fellow. ;-P

Stephen -- has Obama announced a VP running mate???? This is news to me, and I just watched the news!!

Mike -- Clear the way, indeed!! LOL!

Obama has not chosen a running mate yet. There was just some talk it might be Jim Webb. Jim Webb would get him the "cracker" vote. Heck, he might even get my vote, if Jim Webb ran. He would be wise to choose Hillary, though.

I did a wee post on Mr. Webb here:

I'm writing in Colin Powell, he's the last person on Earth who'd want it, but he'd do a great job. He's washed his hands of politics though...

Powers-Boyd '08! Haha! Then you can choose me to be your Secretary of Defense. I'll rename it the Secretary of Offense and will likely have North Korea, China, Russia, and at least half of the middle east up in arms by New Year's. :-D

Stephen: Ooh, I myself could never vote for Hussein!

Dave: I'm going to go dig up Teddy Roosevelt, and then write him in. :-D

Honestly, though, I'd like to do a write-in but have no idea who to choose...maybe I'm just picky, but it's downright difficult to find a right-wing conservative Christian with political views akin to mine who will fight necessary battles.

Hmm....

But realistically speaking, though it would be terrible to have Obama as president, it would be better to have him than McCain. This is because they are both flaming liberals but if McCain is elected, he could do alot of damage because he wears the label "Republican". If Obama is elected and the democrats have less than a two-thirds majority, congress will veto all his bills.

Dr. Paleo Ph.D. said...

You sound like Chuck Baldwin. ;-D

Stephen Boyd said...

Well, what do you disagree with in my statement?

Dr. Paleo Ph.D. said...

LOL, no not necessarily, you just reminded me of something that Baldwin had said.

The major "issue" I have with that idea, though, as compelling as it is, is that I fear that the world situation is getting so violent that McCain would be better than Obama for the situation. Would Obama fight for freedom?

No.

He won't fight for anything; he just loves everything evil. McCain? Seriously flawed, but I hope he'd fight for justice.
